"A MUM who bought a stun gun for her 13-year-old son claimed that she thought it was a toy.
She ordered the potentially deadly weapon - which can discharge up to 100,000 volts - on eBay for £5. She was caught after the gun, known as the Thunder Blaster III, came through customs. Officers swooped after they found the package, labelled as an electric pencil sharpener. The sale of stun guns is illegal in the UK but they are widely available in countries such as the US."
