"Victims of race crime are twice as likely to report the matter to police as they were a year ago, it was claimed today. Although there has been a 50pc rise in reported racist crimes in the county, bosses at Norfolk Constabulary and the Norfolk and Norwich Racial Equality Council (NNREC) claim it is evidence of an increased confidence among victims to report the attacks."
