"Police forces throughout England and Wales breath tested in excess of 155,000 drivers during December 2007, according to results of the Christmas crackdown on drink driving. But despite the record number of tests, up 6.4% from just under 146,000 the previous year, results of the annual campaign show an encouraging drop of nearly 20% in people failing the test."
