"A property securing scheme in Bristol has made a significant impact in helping to tackle burglary and reduce repeat victimisation in the city. The Bobby Van scheme, which is funded by Bristol City Council, Safer Bristol and the Police Community Trust, aims to reduce crime, the fear of crime and the fear of being re-victimised. The carpenters visit people who have either been burgled or are living in burglary hotspots."
