Speaking at the launch of a report from a Conservative party advisory committee chaired by former Metropolitan police commissioner Lord Stevens, Cameron said Britain's borders needed to be "properly defended". The Conservative leader said that Britain's borders were "porous", partly because no single organisation was responsible for them."
