"The Better Regulation agenda is about finding more effective ways of designing and enforcing regulation, without placing unnecessary burdens on those who are regulated. The Government is consulting on a compliance code that will require regulators to focus their work on the areas of highest risk, to minimise the resulting burdens, and thereby support economic progress."
