"Scotland on Sunday can reveal that Latin American gangs - under pressure from international law enforcement - have switched tack and are shipping their cocaine via West Africa instead of directly into Europe. And routes between African and Scottish airports are high on the traffickers' target list because they believe Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen represent an easier route into the UK than big English airports such as Heathrow and Gatwick."
