"System to help police track data
Bicycle stolen from your property? Inventory missing from your store? If you live or operate a business in Gulfport, you can now file certain types of police reports online.
An online report isn't intended for emergencies, though. It's for misdemeanour crimes with no known suspect and losses less than $500. Police say it's a tool to make it easier to file "no suspect" complaints. Gulfport police believe they're the first law enforcement agency in the state to have the online reporting capability."
