"An inspirational mum and a group of schoolchildren are set to receive awards for their work beating crime and staying safe.
Anti-gun campaigner Linda Mitchell, 42, along with teachers and pupils from Grangetown's Southmoor Community School, was due to attend a ceremony in London.
She was joined by pupils and teachers from Southmoor who have been involved in the Home Office's Watch Over Me scheme, aiming to help teenagers stay safe, for the last two years."
