"All officers could face having their annual leave cancelled around the 2012 Olympics, according to the new ACPO lead for the event. Med Hughes, chief constable of South Yorkshire Police, will have responsibility for ensuring all forces in England and Wales are prepared to assist the Met in the lead-up to the competition."
