"An alternative to the current bobby utility belt comprising easily accessible Velcro/net pockets running down the side of an officer's jacket is just one emerging idea for a new Met uniform. The force will have its pick of up to 50 different designs from London College of Fashion students for differing male and female officer uniforms as part of a joint college/Met project."
