"A TEEN terror who got locked up after attacking an 11-year-old boy won his freedom - but a judge said the "short, sharp shock" may have been a blessing in disguise.
The 13-year-old had been recently been sent to detention for four months - he was the youngest person in his secure unit - but wanted to go home, Burnley Crown Court heard.
Recorder John Finestein asked the teeanger, who cannot be named for legal reasons but is said to be a "persistent offender": "Now then, what's it been like spending a few days in prison?" The youth replied: "Horrible.""
