"Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer has said immigrant families that have lived at least seven years in Austria, who are integrated and have no criminal record, should be given the right to stay. Asylum hearings in such cases should be stopped, he added. Gusenbauer, from the Social Democrats (SPÖ), was speaking after a second immigrant family was deported with a week despite protests from the communities in Austria where the families were living. The eight member family was to be deported back to Kosovo on Tuesday."
