"An MP has warned that citizens without popular software cannot use e-government services. Dr John Pugh, a Liberal Democrat MP, is claiming the government is unwittingly creating a Microsoft monopoly with e-government services, as a user not using the Windows operating system can often not access the services due to incompatibility."
