"VOICE recorders could be used to reduce the amount of time officers spend filling in forms and incident logs, the Home Secretary said this week. HM Inspectorate of Constabulary is considering recommending officers use recording technology as part of a wider review of red tape and bureaucracy, according to Jacqui Smith.
