"The Home Affairs Select Committee published a report on 15 June 2007, 'Young Black People and the Criminal Justice System', which considered how to tackle the over-representation of young black people in the criminal justice system.
The government published a response on 18 October 2007 in which it made a commitment to provide detailed proposals for the delivery of improved outcomes for young black people. The detailed proposals were unveiled in the document 'Delivering Improved Outcomes for Young Black People in the Criminal Justice System', which sets out the governance and reporting arrangements for delivering the government's strategy."
