"The Society is calling on the governments in England , Wales and Northern Ireland to urgently fund a national and regional network of services to help these children. Nearly half of professionals (45%) feel there is ‘inadequate’ or ‘entirely unsatisfactory’ service provision in their area, according to a snapshot survey - published by the University of Durham and Huddersfield in 2003."
