Officers 'just as vulnerable to violence'

"A MET officer who has been subject to domestic violence has warned that while police officers have a reputation for being 'strong and forthright' they can be just as vulnerable to this type of abuse. The unnamed senior officer has told how, even as a police officer, she found the ordeal a 'major embarrassment' and felt guilty that she did not prosecute her former partner."
