"UNDERCOVER operations launched to snare shopkeepers selling alcohol to under age customers could result in the prosecution of three traders. Members of a team posing as young customers visited nine shops in the borough and found at least three willingly sold alcohol to them even though they were under the legal age of 18. Surrey Together is believed to be the first of its kind in the country. The team, made up of a police sergeant, three police community support officers, a trading standards officer, and a youth development personal adviser, work together to help the community challenge antisocial behaviour often before it develops."
