"The DVLA has installed a new scanning solution to improve processing times for V5C Vehicle Registration Certificates. The new solution, supplied by document processing specialist BancTec, ensures DVLA complies with the target set by the Secretary of State to issue new vehicle registration certificates within 14 days. Richard Harris, Project Manager, DVLA stated, “We have worked very hard in order to gain significant improvements throughout the entire scanning process, and the BancTec system has played an important role in helping us to achieve these targets.”"
