"A record 48 firms have bagged places on the Government’s legal panel. The OGC estimates the contracts will be worth a total of around £240m over the next four years. The panel is divided into eight categories, largest of which is the full commercial panel, boasting 18 firms. The other categories are IT, telecommunications and e-commerce, property and estates, construction, employment and pensions, corporate and finance, intellectual property and major projects."
