"Twelve defendants that stood trial for human trafficking have been given severe sentences by the Brussels Correctional Court. The twelve are considered to be the Belgian arm of an international human trafficking gang and received prison sentences of 2 to 10 years along with heavy fines. The twelve defendants stood accused of smuggling as many as 100,000 people to Great Britain over a time span of many years."
